The Tití Urbano Initiative aims to raise awareness and exalt the biological diversity of the city of Medellín and its metropolitan area, and promote education using the endemic white-footed tamarin (Saguinus leucopus) as representative of this diversity.

This process has involved the release of rehabilitated tamarins rescued from the illegal traffic, whose process has been monitored by volunteering undergraduate students.
First team of volunteers (2018)

A social group of four tamarins was brought to the university campus from the rehabilitation center of Corpocaldas and introduced to an original group already present in campus following a 5-step process
